The new Ginger Monkey Ski Chalet & Spa is 45 minutes from the Hostel near the town of Star Lubovna. The Chalet sleeps upto 10 people and provides 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room, a cosy living room with the log burner and open plan kitchen.

Ski and Snowboard to and from the front door, the local area has 6 lifts and 4.6km of ski runs and the nearest lift is 300m from the chalet, where there is also a pub and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant provides horse-drawn sledge rides home.

The Spa Hotel is 400m from the Chalet and provides a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage, gym and solarium. The hotel bar/restaurant has folk music and you can use the table football, pool tables and table tennis.

In Summer you have 260km of walking trails to explore, horse riding, mountain bike hire and local fishing. The Ski Chalet turns into a summer house with its large garden, orchard and picnic barbeque area with views of the forest covered hills.

The local town of Stara Lubovna has 2 large supermarkets and a wide range of bars and restaurants. A bus service runs from the Spa Hotel to Stara Lubovna. The Castle at Stara Lubovna is a popular tourist attraction in the area.
